DREAM TO VISIT NEW YORK

One of my dreams is to visit New York. Indeed, New York City is one of the world's primary global cities, exerting a powerful influence over worldwide commerce, finance, culture and entertainment. As host of the United Nations headquarters, it is also an important center for international affairs. If is possible I would like to work as journalist there, and spend the rest of my life.  I also need to visit New York for 3 reasons:
  • The view from the Brooklyn Bridge
  • The splendour of the Union Square Greenmarket
  • Summer concert at the Williamsburg Waterfront

IF PRESENTED WITH THE OPPORTUNITY TO GET MESSAGE TO A LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE , WHAT WOULD YOUR MESSAGE BE? IT POSSIBLE TO LIE WITHOUT SAYING A WORD?

I will tell people to believe in Jesus-Christ. Let him to be in control of your life. Read the bible and pray all the time. Attend the Sunday service in order to know how to live as Christian and know more about God. Today, living a life in the Spirit is not as simple as it once was. The world we live in is filled with injustice, fear, and temptation. As Christians, we often find obstacles in our paths and need clear advice within our easy reach. God has done many things in my life , and I cannot live without him. I really believe in him 100%.

FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE

http://www.gimmesomeoven.com/flourless-chocolate-cake/

Chocolate is one of the most popular sweets of all time. I really love different types of chocolate cake recipes. Here is my favourite recipe of chocolate cake:

Ingredients:

·         8 large eggs, cold
·         1 lb. semisweet (or bittersweet) chocolate, coarsely chopped
·         16 Tbsp. (2 sticks) unsalted butter, cut into 16 pieces
·         optional toppings: powdered sugar and/or berries

Method:

Adjust an oven rack to the lower-middle position and heat the oven to 325 degrees.  Line the bottom of an 8-inch springform pan with parchment paper or waxed paper and grease the sides of the pan.  (Be sure to grease the sides really well!)  Wrap the outside of the pan with 2 sheets of heavy-duty aluminum foil and set it in a large roasting pan.  Bring a kettle or pot of water to boil.
In a stand mixer using the whisk attachment, beat the eggs at high speed until the volume doubles (about 5 minutes).
Meanwhile, melt the chocolate and butter together.  You can either do this on the stove (by placing the chocolate and butter in a large heatproof bowl set over a pan of almost-simmering water until smooth and very warm – about 115 degrees on an instant-read thermometer – stirring occasionally.  Or you can do this in the microwave (by heating the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl at 50% power for 2 minutes, then stirring, the adding the butter, and continuing to heat at 50% power and stir in 1-minute intervals until the mixture is well-melted and smooth).  Then fold about a third of the beaten eggs into the chocolate mixture using a large rubber spatula until only a few streaks of egg are visible.  Fold in half of the remaining egg foam, and then the last half of the foam, until the mixture is totally homogenous.
Scrape the batter into the prepared springform pan and smooth the surface with a rubber spatula.  Place the roasting pan on the oven rack and pour in enough boiling water to come about halfway up the sides of the springform pan.  Bake until the cake has risen slightly, the edges are just beginning to set, a thin-glazed crust (like a rownie) has formed on the surgace, and an instant-read thermometer inserted halfway into the center reads 140° F, 22-25 minutes.  Remove the springform pan from the water bath and set on a wire rack; cool to room temperature.  Cover and refrigerate overnight to mellow and firm.  (The cake can be refrigerated for up to 4 days.)
About 30 minutes prior to serving, carefully remove the sides of the springform pan, invert the cake onto a sheet of waxed paper, peel off the parchment paper, and reinvert the cake onto a serving platter.  If desired, lightly dust the cake with powdered sugar and top with berries.  To slice, use a sharp, thin-bladed knife, dipping the knife into a pitcher of hot water and wiping the blade before each cut.

HOW OLD WOULD YOU BE IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW HOW OLD YOU ARE?

Now there’s a question that can change the way you perceive the whole idea of age and aging. After all, what is age? It’s really just a number, even though we have been conditioned into believing that it dictates everything from when we start to go downhill in terms of our health to, in many cases, when we feel as though we are of no value to society.

When you come right down to it, most of what your life is comprised of has little or nothing to do with your age. Your ability to continue to make a significant contribution to society is not determined by your age but rather your attitudes and beliefs.

While some physical abilities do slow with age even these are being challenged as we learned when swimmer Dara Torres at age 41 won three silver medals at the Beijing Olympics. While it’s unlikely she’ll be in swimming competitions at 70 or 80, she can still make a contribution to her chosen field as a coach or trainer. I love her attitude. In the book title “Age is just a Number” she says: The water doesn't know how old you are. You can choose not to let an old person move into your body, regardless of your present age.

HOW TO TWIST DREADLOCKS

http://mo-am.com/2012/08/19/beautiful-dreadlocks-the-basic-introduction-types-of-locs/
Twists dreads are a quick, clean way of making dreadlocks in minimal time. Someone who wants the look of dreadlocks can make them using one of a few different methods. One method of producing dreadlocks in African hair is by twisting the hair. These twists of hair will eventually lock into place and make dreadlocks, although it will take about four months. Here are some tips to do twist your dreadlocks, including:
1.    Using a rat-tail comb, section a piece of the hair into a 1-inch square, securing it with a small rubber band near the scalp.
2.    Continue sectioning off the hair in 1-inch square sections until the entire head is done.
3.    Take one section of hair and remove the rubber band. Using your comb, back-comb the section of hair closest to the scalp. Back-comb about 1 inch of hair at the scalp.
4.    Apply a dab of beeswax to the length of hair. Place the comb at the end of the hair and twist the lock of hair around. The twist should stay in place.
5.    Hold the twist between your palms and roll the hair to start the locking process.
6.    Work your way around the head until all the sections of hair have been twisted into twists dreads. This will take a while to do, so it's good to have a friend help you.

OF ALL THE FORMS OF COURAGE THE ABILITY TO LAUGH IS THE MOST ...

http://www.saidaonline.com/en/news.

Thirty minutes per day. Think about it! Go ahead and laugh, point and giggle; do it with satisfaction and do it for you health. For instance, it may be preventing Diabetes diseases; and I love laugh. Furthermore, laughing is contagious and soon everyone around you will be laughing too. Life can sometimes be too serious, depressing, and tiring! Learn new joke and tell it to everyone you know no matter if you are a good joke teller or not!

DO YOU CELEBRATE THE THINGS YOU HAVE DONE ?

Of course, I celebrate things that happen in my existence. This year, I celebrated my degree in Public Relations Management. It was very successful celebration and all my close friends were invited to my place at Garden Centre. But unfortunately, my relatives were not able to attend on my graduation party. I will never forget that special day, when they called my name in front of all the CPUT executives’ boards, parents and so. I was so pleased to take picture with my graduation gown at CPUT multipurpose hall. Next year by the grace of God, I will celebrate my Btech graduation.

THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS HAS EXPIRED ON MOST OF OUR CHILDHOOD TRAUMA

If you've gone through a traumatic experience, you may be struggling with upsetting emotions, frightening memories, or a sense of constant danger. Experiencing trauma in childhood can have a severe and long-lasting effect. Children who have been traumatized see the world as a frightening and dangerous place. When childhood trauma is not resolved, this fundamental sense of fear and helplessness carries over into adulthood, setting the stage for further trauma.
Childhood trauma results from anything that disrupts a child's sense of safety and security, including:
  • An unsafe environment
  • Separation from a parent
  • Serious illness
  • Intrusive medical procedures

THE BANDANA DAY 2012

http://www.capehaem.co.za/upcoming-sunflower-fund-events.html
Every year thousands of South Africans are diagnosed with leukaemia and other life threatening blood disorders. To survive from this disease, people rely on bone marrow stem cell donors who are ethnically diverse, in an effort to save the lives of those needing a transplant.

Brainchild of the Sunflower Fund, the bandana idea was launched on 1 September 2003. Furthermore, the NGO is urging all South African’s to support National Bandana Day on 12 October by buying an official bandana for only R 20 at their local Pick n Pay. All funds raised will go towards assisting The Sunflower Fund in increasing the South African Bone Marrow Registry. The Registry assists in finding 40,000 donors representative of the South African demographics and ideally tissue-typed to a DR level. It endorsed by Archbishops Emeritus Desmond Tutu, Patron of the Sunflower Fund, and also the minister of education.

ONLY BAD HAPPEN THINGS QUICKLY

Have you ever wondered why bad things always seem to happen to you? When was the last time you said, "why me? Why do bad things always happen to me"? First of all, let me set the record straight, bad things happen to everyone. None of us can escape having bad experiences. Having said that, we need to know why some of us experience bad things more often than others. One thing we must keep in mind is that many times what appear to be 'bad things' is simply a matter of perspective. It's more times than not how we see things. Example: Two people go to prison; both are guilty of breaking the law. They both are struggling with some form of addiction. One of them sees it as a bad thing. This one is looking at the things that will be missed in society. The other one see it as a good thing. This one sees an opportunity to change his life: perspective.

BE STUDENT IN ABROAD

http://tusb.stanford.edu/tag/study-abroad

Study in abroad is not easy task. Sometimes you face issues with the communication language communication or new environment in which you must learn how to interact with different cultures. But step by step you become familiar to your new home. When I left my hometown for South Africa, it was bad experience because I traveled alone without any tour guide. I studied English in Ghana for a period of 9 months, and upon my arrival in South Africa it was difficult for me to communicate with South African citizens. Academic books have contributed in the success of my training education in Public Relations Management course. I bless God because I have finished my studies; and I’m ready to access the industry world. Study abroad gives me the opportunity to make friends around the world, help me to improve my skills in communication and writing, the optimal way to learn a new language, and provides the opportunity to travel again.

BE HOLD AND MIGHTY FORCES WILL COME TO YOUR

https://godshealingplants.wordpress.com/helping-yourself-and-others/
If you are determined to make some changes in your life or become a better person, you have to look for ways to do just that. You can’t just ask and then wait for it to fall out of the sky. It doesn't work this way. Go on your journey, be willing to work on yourself, be willing to learn, to study, to work and if you need help on the way, if you will ask for guidance, you will definitely receive it. It takes time, it takes work, it takes patience but in the end it is all worth it. Believe in yourself and in the very wisdom that created you. Go beyond your physical appearance and by doing that you might just find who you really are. Know that you are more than that which you see in the mirror. You are a soul with a body and not a body with a soul.
Wherever you are, whatever you do, always remember that you are here because you have a purpose; you have gifts to share with the world. You are not here by accident; I am not here by accident. Nothing and nobody is here by accident. We are all part of something big and it’s up to us to find what that something is and work toward achieving it.

DO YOU THINK CRYING IS A SIGN OF WEAKNESS OR STRENGTH ?

http://www.sodahead.com/living/do-you-think-crying-is-a-sign-of-weakness-or-strength/question-2592117/?

Crying is a sign that someone can feel and empathize. It is a definite strength. Not crying could be strength too, but under different circumstances. Being able to feel and experience those emotions allowed individuals to empathize with other people and connect with them on a universal level, in the way that makes us all human. Neither it shows someone have emotional about things that makes him or her human being. For instance, it is discouraging when a world leader or politician cries, as it weakens their respective positions. Crying in other situations, like when a child is born or when a person is grieving are not signs of weakness, but rather signs of strength

IF NOT NOW, THEN WHEN?

What are you waiting for? This is not giving you permission to go out and spend until you drop!  I am talking about all the things you say you want to do, but put it off for various reasons!  You know what I am talking about, it is the weight you want to lose, the exercise you put off, the class you want to take, but put off. The business you want to start, or the habit you want to break! Let’s be honest, anything worthwhile is difficult, because if it were easy everyone would do it.  What have you been putting off?  For me, it is cleaning out the garage, but I am not talking about chores.  At this time of year the New Year’s Resolutions are forgotten.  In other words, it required an effort and you gave up.  What was your New Year’s Resolution? For example, I want to lose weight, but I do not have time to go to the gym.  Stop making excuses and start on your dreams. Let’s start a trend, better yet a movement toward accomplishing your goals, dreams or fantasies!  What do you think?

WATCH THIS SPACE

I love my country. Then, I would like to give my contribution to the Gabonese education system. Research has shown that Gabon do not have enough English language schools. Most of the time, youth and adults travel overseas to learn English. I would like to be involved and work in collaboration with the government of Gabon and others international institutions for the implementation and success of this project. International but also local people can benefit of these schools. The purpose of this project is to allow people in learning a foreign language, in order for them to access international firms. Those schools will have qualified English teachers and affordable prices for the fees.
I know that everything is possible with God, and I trust him for the educational development of African countries.

GABONESE BEVERAGES

http://www.tntmagazine.com/travel/destinations-a-z/gabon/food-and-drink-in-gabon
For alcohol drinkers, when you are not drinking the sugar cane-based beverages, the other alternative would be to go for the local beer called Regab.

Regab is the national beer of Gabon. Brewed in Gabon since 1966, most locals drink it and those who have tasted it are quick to vouch that it is one of Africa’s best lagers. In addition, Regab is a smooth beer in term of taste. One glass of the warm stuff could make you fly and it was sold in a litre bottle. One of the best ways to pay respect to another culture and its people is in the drinking of local beverage if you are an alcohol drinker.

MY FAVOURITE CAT IN THE HAT BOOK IS [FILL IN THE TITLE];BECAUSE...

http://yasfx-36famouscatsthroughouthistory.buzznet.com/user/photos/cat-hat/?id=63660051

It’s the first time that I heard such stories. I will try my best to give my point of view about the following statement. During my childhood, I read many books as part of my education. Some of them were informative; others very bored. My favourite was Cinderella; with regards to Cat in the hat book is publication dated from 1958. It deals withthe mother has left Sally and her unnamed brother alone for the day, but this time, they are instructed to clear away a huge amount of snow while she is out. While they are working, the cat turns up and snacks on a cake in the bathtub with the water running, and leaves a pink residue. Preliminary attempts to clean it up fail as they only transfer the mess elsewhere, including a dress, the wall, a pair of ten dollar shoes, a rug, the bed, and then eventually outside. The cat reveals that Little Cat A is nested inside his hat. Little Cat A doffs his hat to reveal Little Cat B, who reveals C, and so on”.

LOVE MAKES PEOPLE BLIND

Love is a feeling you get when you meet the right person. When you fall in love you don’t see mistakes inside your partner. At your eyes, bad things become good things and sometimes that can lead to danger and feelings getting hurt. It’s just like you got a deep sleep and time to wake up questioning yourself, I’m doing right? You have been neglecting a lot of people whom you also love like family and friends. If love fails those people whom you have neglected will be there to cheer you up.

MY BEST FRIEND:GLWADYS

In our days, it’s hard to find real friends because some relationships are based on financial matters or other interests. Today I can’t believe that my close-friend Glwadys left Cape Town. I’m very sad because the journey is about 12 months in Gabon. I also understand that her in-service training is one of the reasons. I’m proud of education that she acquired in South Africa. Now she ready to work as intern in our country.
I remembered all bad and good times that we spent together. What I like best about her is that she is ready to care about others. It’s hard to find a friend like that. We are unstoppable! We have so many inside jokes that nobody would understand unless they were there, or if they were just us! Not everyone gets our stupid jokes, and they might that there immature and childish, but together we make them funny and get a good laugh out of it!  Our friendship is so strong that we can get through anything. She’s a friend that I could and will never forget in my life.

WHY I HAVE CONVERSATIONS?

In general, the term conversation is used to describe the ways people are sharing their ideas, thoughts, feeling, opinions about specific topics, and personal experience among them. This old form of communication enables people to know more about your partner. It includes two or more people .The aim of having a conversation is to come up with one idea, one solution, one thought with your partner. Sometimes, conversations have brought clashes amongst individuals because of the differences on background, cultures, race or religion. Personally, I always have a conservation with other people to express my view about any incidents or news that happening in the worldwide countries, share my feeling about sometimes that worrying me in my personal life, and find out answer of particular issue which need to be solved.

THE PENALTY DEATH: RIGHT OR WRONG

http://paxchristiusa.org/tag/death-penalty/

Our society is full of injustice, immorality, corruption and so forth. Every single day, people are struggling to improve their condition of living. Some of them decided to do right things and others bad things. For instance, one man is murdered: but we cannot do anything about it. In order to make justice, government have allocated punishments such as penalty death for people who did not follow the rules of society. By murdering this person, do we think the other will come back of life? Or do you think he or she deserves to be killed for his bad actions. If that were possible, we would be all in support of this man being removed. However, the better way is to send that person in jail rather than kill. This practice is totally a crime by the society. Life of a person is precious and no one has the right to take it. Only God gives life and all life belongs to him.

MY BIG FAT DREAM

http://www.genuinejobs.com/telecommuting/freelance-game-journalist-needed-jobs-list-oct-14/

I think writing is really a process of communication.... its sense of being in contact with people who are part of a particular audience that really makes a difference to me in writing.” (Sherley Anne Williams, poet). My dream of becoming a journalist dates back to my childhood. Even as a youngster, I was curious about the world around me and I like freedom. I was attracted to the idea because a journalist can talk to people in all stations of life and be exposed to many ideas. They play a vital role in helping others know the world in which they live and contribute to the enlightenment of society. What I like about knows that I can create a world and the people all in it, all my fingertips. I also enjoy the fact that I can create my own stories, my own twists, and my own character’s destiny, and the power it gives me to create my own plot. Writing offers me the ability to go into my own world where I can explore anything I want.

DO WE NEED TO TELL TRUTH?

http://my.opera.com/outtamyhead/blog/

Truth is the only weapon that helps people to find peace in their hearts. Lies are only powerful in the short term and soon get shown up because they are inconsistent with reality. If you were to tell lies it would become obvious in the end and then you would lose credibility. Because keeping up with lies is difficult, therefore you risk contradicting yourself; if later on and looking like a dumb liar. This happens even to the most experienced liars, even to people who plan the last detail of their lie. For instance, we observe such behaviour in the court where people contradicted themselves even when they planned to lie to a judge. Hence, telling the truth is very important because it helps to distinguish those who can be trusted and those who cannot. Those who tell the truth never have to concern themselves about covering up their lies.

CONVENTIONAL IS GOOD FALLBACK POSITION ISN'T IT?

If you are on a conventional path, following the conventional life, with conventional dreams and aspirations, then you are living a life deferred. You are putting life on the back burner until you are ready it. No, not until you are ready for it. Life is on the back burner until the planets align, fate favors you, and lighting strikes twice, or until you retire. From this statement, I ask the following question? Would you follow a path before knowing where it leads? When you follow the path that your feet were born on, instead of looking at the map and seeing all of your options, you are blind to the possibility beneath your feet.  Jonathan Wondrusch states “It is not what I did that I regret, but what I did not do”

EVERYTHING IN LIFE IS A CHOICE

Whether you believe it or not, everything up to this point in your life that has or has not happened to you is because of the choice you have made. Every aspect when examined a little closer can be traced back to as series of choices we have made. We as human beings have been given this tremendous power that allow us to change any result that we do not agree with or like, just making a choice to change. For instance, let take example within the organisation between the boss and his employees: You might feel that he or she have no choice when it comes to his bosses orders, but in fact that is not true. You could go against his wishes and not do what he was asked to do. You might not like the result of such decision, but the point is that you do have a choice. Believe in yourself to make the right choices and if for some reason you happen to make an incorrect choice, choose to learn from your minor mistake, and then choose to move forward after learning from the process. Everything in life is a choice.

YOU CANNOT CHASE TWO RABBITS AT THE SAME TIME

I agree with the following statement that is not possible to chase two rabbits at the same time. Many people find easy to manage multitask within the organisation. But it had shown that multitasking doesn’t make someone more productive. This practice doesn’t work is because we can’t focus on more than one task at a time. For example, imagine trying to talk to someone and write an email at the same time. Both of these tasks involve communication. You can’t speak to someone and write a really clear and focused email at the same time. The tasks are conflicting and the mind gets overloaded as you try to switch between the two tasks. Multitasking reduces the quality of work. Then we try to do two things or more things at once, and the result is that we do everything less well than if we focused properly on each task in turn.

WHY IS IT DANGEROUS TO SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION ON SOCIAL NETWORKING SITES?

Someone’s life is a private affair. No one except yourself has the rights to know what you are doing or not. But nowadays, we see popular websites like Facebook, LinkedIn, or twitter in which millions of people are posting bad images of themselves, and ridiculous stories about their life. The use of a social network is a powerful channel whereby people can communicate to one another. As an example, when a person is looking for a job through various organisations both international and national, the words and images on his profile may be viewed by future employers. Do not think your page will have relative privacy.
From this issue, it shows that criminals can also use information provided about a person’s birthday, location, routine, hobbies, and interests to convince the unsuspecting that they have the authority to access personal data. They can even use such information to guess your account password. This explains why you should never have a password that uses the name of your pet, favourite band, hobby, birthday, or something else easily known about you. Remember that the more information malicious people have about you, the easier it is for them to take advantage of you. Other people use it to injure public figures and put their career down.
It is not important for the public to know about your life, and then it will spoil your reputation. People must use their online profile as free place to promote themselves professionally and academically. If you keep that approach in mind, you will not post anything you would regret later, and you will enjoy the benefits of staying connected with friends, colleagues, parents and other employees, while protecting yourself and even bolstering your resume.

"NOTHING IS MORE DANGEROUS THAN AN IDEA, WHEN YOU ONLY HAVE AN IDEA" (ALAIN)

Ideas are simply thoughts that come inside human spirit. Some ideas can be perceived as danger, because it focuses on the destruction. The conceptualization of bad ideas led to the negative consequences. Also, the more we know ourselves, the better able we are to make well informed decisions that may serve us as individuals, as well as the whole. In the past, scientists created the Atomic bomb (Hiroshima) to kill human beings and end World War II.
In another level of the discussion, good ideas are benefits to improve the global market for multinational firms. The society we live in is truly global. In the past, a dangerous idea would have effects only on the society is existed within. While this is still true, the scale of this society is now global. If we take example of videoconferencing is a new technology that enables group of businesses to conduct a meeting and share a project without being at the same office or country.

HAVE YOU FIGURED OUT THE SECOND HEAD FAKE?

“It’s not about how to achieve your dreams , it’s about how to lead your life,...If you lead your life the right way, the karma will take care of itself, the dreams will come to you. According to Randy Pausch, the first head fake isn’t about the success of achievements through our lives. A lot of people do things that aren’t give them happiness and peace. The second head fake is a message that he addressed for his children not to the audience.

PEACE IN OUR HEARTS

http://www.amazon.com/Peace-Our-Hearts-World-Meditations/dp/1402757174

Life is always with challenges and battles. From our lives, we are facing negative experiences that have left us feeling angry, hurt, or disjointed in some way. These negative feelings are very powerful and cannot keep us from living a peaceful life. It very difficult to overcome the struggles we encounter. We allow many things to destroy us from the inside. Life’s biggest hurdles, such as the loss of relationships, deaths, and financial issues, can steal peace and contentment from our hearts. But God is the one who procures us the peace and stability in our hearts, then to accomplish many things. In this stage, we will be able to relive the suffering around us.
