WHY DO I ALWAYS SMILE?

http://www.bpovia.net/smile/
Smiling is an incredibly important part of our lives. When we smile, the other person feels at ease and gains confidence to discuss his problems also. Smile relaxes both. It has an ability to wipe out anger and hatred. Smile is contagious, seeing you smiling the other person is bound to smile. From certain situations, people are always smiling especially in groups but it doesn’t just signal that they‘re happy, far from it. In a world where everyone is out for themselves, who should we trust? One signal that suggests we are trustworthy is a smile. Genuine smiles send a message that other people can trust and cooperate with us. People who smile are rated higher in both generosity and extroversion and when people share with each other they tend to display genuine smiles. We use smiles for specific social purposes because they can send out all sorts of signals that can be useful for us.

FRIENDSHIP IS THE BEST RELATIONSHIP WITHIN THE WORLD

The term” friendship” refers to a relationship between two people who hold mutual affection for each other. It highlights the following aspects: the tendency to desire what is the best for the other, sympathy and empathy, honesty in situations where it may be difficult for others to speak the truth, mutual understanding and compassion to each other, trust in one another, and express one’s feeling and make mistakes without fear of judgement. From my experience, I thank God because most of my friends are kind and respectful to me and we do understand each other. My best friend’s name is Audrey Mba Ella. We met at High School. For each academic year, I was always part of the late registration students. When I attended my first day of class, everyone looked at me like they are seeing a stranger and I became very shy. But Audrey was the only one who cared about me and asked me to sit next to her. All my relatives know about her. We passed our matric at the same time. Nowadays, she stays in Canada and me in South Africa. Our friendship is based on trust and respect. Some people have tried to stop our friendship but we are strong. So, from many years till now we keep our relationship.

THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM

http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/elephant-in-the-room.html

This is the first time that I hear about such a story of elephant in the room. I will try my best to give an overview about this topic and provide some examples. “Elephant in the room” is an English metaphorical idiom for an obvious truth that is being ignored or goes unaddressed. Also the expression originates from USA, although the precise source isn’t known. But people can be sure it wasn't anything to do with elephants. If we relate this expression from our lives, it shows that society is facing many issues that are not solved . For instance, the modern media is one of the biggest problems whereby we see youth girls that keep in head the idea of becoming  a famous singer as “Hannah” and don’t see a need of having education to success. That is a poor mentality. It results from the American TV shows that portray illusion lives over the entire world. In other words, the planet is becoming full of ignorant people who live their lives through things that do not exist in the real life.

OUR GREATEST STRENGTHS ARE OUR WEAKNESSES

God gives me numerous skills and I’m proud of them. These skills include the love to learn new things, the ability to cope with failures and try to learn from my mistakes, and the passion to work in team and have been an active participant for accomplishment of tasks.  One of my strengths is the ability to make research on specific topic. Research allows me to pursue my interests, to learn something new, to hone my problem-solving skills and to challenge myself in new ways. Working on a research project gives me the opportunity work closely with other experienced students and shared information to solve a particular problem. My weaknesses, however, seem to come up in every time I make a mistake or something goes wrong. I do my best work in a team. There is nothing I love more than working with others, the back and forth of ideas. I love it. In contrast, I won’t get the best work out of me if I’m always on projects that require me to work alone.

BALANCING PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL LIFE

http://wahm.sgv2.com/work-life-balance/290/5-steps-to-creating-a-balanced-life
We live in a very busy world where people, especially women, find themselves torn their careers and their families. Both these roles are equally important but it is always difficult for women, who are usually regarded as the primary care- givers, to maintain a balance between the two. Balance in life is very important as it ensures peace of mind and happiness. People need to be flexible in balancing their lives. To achieve this someone may need to develop better time management by dividing the time in such a way that neither his personal nor professional life suffers. Therefore women need to be the best and hardest working employment, should not stand in their way of being good mother, friend, sister or wife.  The life is what someone makes it; if people prioritise his career that they will not have much of family life and vice versa. So make the effort to bring balance into the personal and professional life and live happily knowing you have done right by yourself.
