THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS HAS EXPIRED ON MOST OF OUR CHILDHOOD TRAUMA

If you've gone through a traumatic experience, you may be struggling with upsetting emotions, frightening memories, or a sense of constant danger. Experiencing trauma in childhood can have a severe and long-lasting effect. Children who have been traumatized see the world as a frightening and dangerous place. When childhood trauma is not resolved, this fundamental sense of fear and helplessness carries over into adulthood, setting the stage for further trauma.
Childhood trauma results from anything that disrupts a child's sense of safety and security, including:
  • An unsafe environment
  • Separation from a parent
  • Serious illness
  • Intrusive medical procedures

THE BANDANA DAY 2012

http://www.capehaem.co.za/upcoming-sunflower-fund-events.html
Every year thousands of South Africans are diagnosed with leukaemia and other life threatening blood disorders. To survive from this disease, people rely on bone marrow stem cell donors who are ethnically diverse, in an effort to save the lives of those needing a transplant.

Brainchild of the Sunflower Fund, the bandana idea was launched on 1 September 2003. Furthermore, the NGO is urging all South African’s to support National Bandana Day on 12 October by buying an official bandana for only R 20 at their local Pick n Pay. All funds raised will go towards assisting The Sunflower Fund in increasing the South African Bone Marrow Registry. The Registry assists in finding 40,000 donors representative of the South African demographics and ideally tissue-typed to a DR level. It endorsed by Archbishops Emeritus Desmond Tutu, Patron of the Sunflower Fund, and also the minister of education.

ONLY BAD HAPPEN THINGS QUICKLY

Have you ever wondered why bad things always seem to happen to you? When was the last time you said, "why me? Why do bad things always happen to me"? First of all, let me set the record straight, bad things happen to everyone. None of us can escape having bad experiences. Having said that, we need to know why some of us experience bad things more often than others. One thing we must keep in mind is that many times what appear to be 'bad things' is simply a matter of perspective. It's more times than not how we see things. Example: Two people go to prison; both are guilty of breaking the law. They both are struggling with some form of addiction. One of them sees it as a bad thing. This one is looking at the things that will be missed in society. The other one see it as a good thing. This one sees an opportunity to change his life: perspective.

BE STUDENT IN ABROAD

http://tusb.stanford.edu/tag/study-abroad

Study in abroad is not easy task. Sometimes you face issues with the communication language communication or new environment in which you must learn how to interact with different cultures. But step by step you become familiar to your new home. When I left my hometown for South Africa, it was bad experience because I traveled alone without any tour guide. I studied English in Ghana for a period of 9 months, and upon my arrival in South Africa it was difficult for me to communicate with South African citizens. Academic books have contributed in the success of my training education in Public Relations Management course. I bless God because I have finished my studies; and I’m ready to access the industry world. Study abroad gives me the opportunity to make friends around the world, help me to improve my skills in communication and writing, the optimal way to learn a new language, and provides the opportunity to travel again.

BE HOLD AND MIGHTY FORCES WILL COME TO YOUR

https://godshealingplants.wordpress.com/helping-yourself-and-others/
If you are determined to make some changes in your life or become a better person, you have to look for ways to do just that. You can’t just ask and then wait for it to fall out of the sky. It doesn't work this way. Go on your journey, be willing to work on yourself, be willing to learn, to study, to work and if you need help on the way, if you will ask for guidance, you will definitely receive it. It takes time, it takes work, it takes patience but in the end it is all worth it. Believe in yourself and in the very wisdom that created you. Go beyond your physical appearance and by doing that you might just find who you really are. Know that you are more than that which you see in the mirror. You are a soul with a body and not a body with a soul.
Wherever you are, whatever you do, always remember that you are here because you have a purpose; you have gifts to share with the world. You are not here by accident; I am not here by accident. Nothing and nobody is here by accident. We are all part of something big and it’s up to us to find what that something is and work toward achieving it.

DO YOU THINK CRYING IS A SIGN OF WEAKNESS OR STRENGTH ?

http://www.sodahead.com/living/do-you-think-crying-is-a-sign-of-weakness-or-strength/question-2592117/?

Crying is a sign that someone can feel and empathize. It is a definite strength. Not crying could be strength too, but under different circumstances. Being able to feel and experience those emotions allowed individuals to empathize with other people and connect with them on a universal level, in the way that makes us all human. Neither it shows someone have emotional about things that makes him or her human being. For instance, it is discouraging when a world leader or politician cries, as it weakens their respective positions. Crying in other situations, like when a child is born or when a person is grieving are not signs of weakness, but rather signs of strength

IF NOT NOW, THEN WHEN?

What are you waiting for? This is not giving you permission to go out and spend until you drop!  I am talking about all the things you say you want to do, but put it off for various reasons!  You know what I am talking about, it is the weight you want to lose, the exercise you put off, the class you want to take, but put off. The business you want to start, or the habit you want to break! Let’s be honest, anything worthwhile is difficult, because if it were easy everyone would do it.  What have you been putting off?  For me, it is cleaning out the garage, but I am not talking about chores.  At this time of year the New Year’s Resolutions are forgotten.  In other words, it required an effort and you gave up.  What was your New Year’s Resolution? For example, I want to lose weight, but I do not have time to go to the gym.  Stop making excuses and start on your dreams. Let’s start a trend, better yet a movement toward accomplishing your goals, dreams or fantasies!  What do you think?
